DEFINITION OF REAL-TIME ?
• Real-time ordering means that if 1 unit of product is available online then the user can feel 100% confident that that product is available for order. If the user orders it – then they will receive it.
• Real-time reporting means that when an administrator downloads a usage history report (or any report) it will include orders from the previous second.
• Real-time data means that when a new product is added, or pricing, descriptions or even inwards goods are updated within the WMS then this information is instantly updated online.
• Real-time ordering also means that any inbound phone, fax or email orders that are received and entered manually will result in the stock levels being adjusted instantly.
